Plenty of the most expensive homes owned by celebrities are palatial houses with tons of bedrooms and acres of space. However, a few of them are pricey apartments and condos, like the one that Lewis Hamilton owned in New York City. He bought this place for $43.99 million back in 2017, and it was quite a spectacular purchase.
However, despite having 8,900 square feet of space, five bedrooms, six bathrooms, and a pool, the Formula One driver never actually lived here. He ended up selling the condo several years later, initially asking buyers to pay $57 million for the place. This ended up dropping down to $49.5 million, which still earned him a small profit.
