Not only do you have something pretty incredible to look out on every day, but it means you’ve got a home in one of New York’s most sought-after destinations. Unfortunately, to afford such a place, you need to be someone with a lot of money at your disposal.
Sting was one such man, with the artist purchasing a penthouse here for a monumental $26.9 million in 2008. Almost a decade later, he put the duplex on sale for more than double what he paid. It didn’t quite sell as high, but he still made $50 million off the property that offers four bedrooms and covers two floors.
