Nina’s first day of school
She took Nina quickly to school, without saying anything about the incident. She hoped to quickly erase the incident from her memory and suppress the disturbing thoughts deep within her mind.
Naomi knew that this was an encounter she would never forget. She was haunted by the memory of that encounter every time she woke up.
Back To Normal
She found herself in the same street as the original incident. She couldn’t resist noticing that the items the homeless man left behind were missing as she walked along. She distinctly remembered seeing other people grab those items earlier in the morning as if they had a race against time.
The street appeared to have been transformed in a miraculous way, erasing all evidence of the chaos that occurred only moments before.
