He has recently changed
David returned, which was surprising. It was evident that David had changed a lot. This change was unfortunately not positive. David appeared to be more isolated and spent most of his free time alone. David’s behavior grew more paranoid and he was visibly afraid in some instances.
He never gave a satisfactory reason for his new behavior. Some believed his bizarre actions were linked to drug abuse, a problem that is common in the region. The man who made the theory had his doubts, believing that it could not explain David’s bizarre transformation.
Looking for a tip
He could only tell Naomi that much, as he struggled to find the words. He then held up his tip cup with a small sign that read “Any contribution will be greatly appreciated.” In a less-than-subtle way, he made sure to get Naomi’s full attention. He held the cup steady despite his desperate attempts, demonstrating his resolve. Naomi was moved by his perseverance and decided to give him some dollars.
