Samantha was frozen in a moment of terror, but Raven instinctively pulled her close for support. Raven, who was initially passive, sprang to action when the men got too close, growling at them and showing his teeth. The men quickly fled, crossing the road to the other side. Samantha breathed a relief of gratitude for Raven’s protective reaction, and gave him a reassuring reassurance pat on the back.
