What happened when a boy met a dog on the street was unexpected.

The family watched their dog circle the house a few times, then run off into the woods.

Lynn got lost. What happened to their pet? Tom was devastated and desperate. Lynn ran through the window because the parents had accidentally left it open. The puppy could not get inside because the window was too high.

They decided to give it a try, even though finding Lynn was like searching for a needle among haystacks.

Tom’s parents wanted to know the odds of Lynn returning home by herself. The window was only one and a quarter feet above the ground, so it couldn’t have been through there. This is too high for such a young dog. They decided to keep the back door wide open day and night. Five days later, Lynn was nowhere to be seen. Not only did the boy cry, but his parents were also saddened.

The woods behind the home extended for more than 50 miles!
