Twelve Foods You Should Avoid When Eating for Gastritis

8. Sweets

Gastritis can also be caused by baked sweets such as brownies, cakes, cookies, donuts and chocolate. In the oven, baked goods are heated to a high temperature. The oven is a chamber that has been thermally heated.

The stomach lining is damaged and irritated by eating a lot of baked foods. Most baked sweets contain icing, which is high in sugar. Gastritis sufferers should avoid chocolates because they contain sugar and caffeine, which can be harmful for the stomach. Theobromine, which is hard to digest, is also present. You should avoid eating brownies, fudges, candy bars, and cookies if you have gastritis. They can cause stomach inflammation.

Gastritis can cause abdominal pain and cramps. This inflammation can occur 1-4 hours after eating.
