14. Asymptomatic in many
The symptoms of trichomoniasis are not always the same for all people. In some cases, there may be no symptoms at all. The symptoms mentioned in this article are more common among women, while men tend to experience fewer symptoms.
Trichomoniasiscan present as asymptomatic disease in some people. You don’t even have to have had sex to be exposed to something which has come into contact with genitals. Hotel linens are just one example of something that could transmit trich to a host.
If you suspect that you have trichomoniasis but don’t show symptoms, consult your doctor. You may notice that your partner has symptoms when you do not, which could mean that both of you have it.
