It’s impossible to learn every language, but a few simple phrases will help you communicate better with locals. The language is an important part of understanding another culture. Sometimes, it only takes a simple ‘hello!’ to make someone warm up to you.
Google and apps like Duolingo, Memrise have made it easier to learn a new language. You can either spend a few moments a day the week before your trip, or quickly look up the phrase when you arrive at your destination. We recommend that you learn to ask “Do you speak English?”
