There are 14 common symptoms of labrum tear

4. Loss of Strength

You may notice a weakness in the affected arm if you have a torn labrum. First, it is important to determine the cause for this weakness.

Consider the symptoms of a stroke such as a drooping facial expression or an inability to speak a tongue twister aloud. You should seek medical attention immediately if you are having difficulty performing these tasks. If you don’t have any symptoms of stroke but experience weakness in your arm it could be a labrum torn.

Avoid lifting heavy objects using your arm, as this could cause further damage. Find a ride and go to the hospital. It is not recommended to drive with a labrum tear, especially if your strength has been affected.
