Shin Splits: 14 symptoms

Shin Splits: 14 symptoms

10. Increased Dislocations

Dislocationscan be associated with conditions such as shin splints and changes in posture. Shin splints may affect the way you walk and run. This could increase your risk of dislocations in your ankles or other joints.

Shin splints can be diagnosed by increased dislocations and shin pain, but it is also possible that they are a sign for other conditions. You can find out what’s going on by spending a few minutes with your physician.

In rare cases, the symptom may be due to a connective tissue disorder such as Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome or Marfan Syndrome. This condition will require a diagnosis from a doctor and lifestyle changes could follow. Some of these symptoms can be associated with weak connective tissue. However, they are more severe when they are caused by underlying disorders.
