Natural remedies for nausea

11. Stay Hydrated

Dehydration is a common problem among people who do not drink enough fluids. Nausea is a sign of dehydration. Your body will react if you do not drink enough fluids. You may feel nausea and cramps, or your stomach may hurt. You don’t want to drink anything, and especially not water, when you feel nauseous.

You may dehydrate more quickly as nausea and vomiting are often associated. If you’re feeling nauseated or vomiting, it is important to drink lots of fluids. You can drink other clear, thin liquids like Gatorade or chicken broth if you do not want to or cannot drink water.

If you vomit, continue drinking liquids until the nausea subsides. You should seek medical help if you are feeling nauseous after drinking a lot of liquids.
