L-arginine, a powerful and versatile amino acid, can help with gonorrhea symptoms in at least three ways. It is an antimicrobial that fights bacteria directly. However, it also reduces inflammation. Inflammation plays a major role in many of the pains and discomforts that are associated with infections.

Many foods are rich in Zinc, a natural agent. You can increase your Zinc intake by adding foods such as pumpkin seeds, wild-caught salmon and sunflower seeds to your diet. L-arginine intake should be increased to 1000 milligrams per day. This will help reduce inflammation in the affected cells and boost your immunity to prevent further damage caused by bad bacteria. It can also reduce joint pain that is associated with gonorrhea.
