The dog and the boy became inseparable. Tom called her Lucy Jr. and they spent all their time together. Lucy Jr. knew that Tom was important to her just like her mother did.
She was always willing to play and she was patient. Tom’s mom smiled and said, “This was meant to be,” afterward.
