A man built an entire house out of shipping containers and the result is stunning

Taylor Swift bought a 12,000-square-foot mansion to celebrate her successful career

  • Value of Property: $17.75 million
  • Year of Purchase: 2013
  • Location: Watch Hill, Westerly

Taylor Swift probably never imagined that she’d be one of the biggest names in music when she began her recording career. However, the singer just seems to become more famous by the day, which has done wonderful things to her bank account. She can now afford to buy all sorts of properties, including one in Rhode Island’s town of Westerly.

Apparently, this place covers 12,000 square feet and was bought by the singer in 2013. At this point, Taylor’s transition from country music to pop superstardom was doing wonders for her finances. So, she could seemingly afford to buy an eight-bedroom home for $17.75 million. It’s one of the biggest purchases Taylor’s ever made in her career.
