Tom Shadyac is well aware of how accidents can change your life. After a 2007 bicycle accident, the director’s outlook on life changed dramatically. After a concussion left him hypersensitive to noise and light, he gave up his luxurious lifestyle in favor of a mobile home measuring 1,000 square feet.
It’s a big change to go from a mansion of 17,000 square feet to a trailer park in Malibu, but he thought it was necessary. The home’s cost and when it was purchased are unknown, but the property is certainly more modest than he had been used to. He seems to be happy with his new home.
