The family of the child beauty contest star has had to deal with many difficulties throughout the years, even though they became famous on television. Mama June Shannon, for example, struggled with substances and was forced to sell her house to investors years ago.
Shannon paid $156,000 in 2014 for the home. This is a very modest price, especially for a house of this size. It was 3,225 square foot and had three bathrooms, five bedrooms for the family. Mama June sold the house for $100,000 because desperate times demanded desperate measures.
