A man built an entire house out of shipping containers and the result is stunning

Cher once considered her expensive home to be a “sanctuary” and “fortress”

  • Value of Property: $75 million
  • Year of Purchase: 1999
  • Location: Malibu

Cher has previously referred to her home in Malibu as being a “sanctuary” and “fortress” because it’s the “only place I have any privacy.” So, we can understand why this property has been so special to the singer over the years. Nevertheless, she doesn’t quite love the Italian Renaissance-style house enough to hold onto it forever.

She’s listed the mansion a few times, initially setting an asking price of $85 million. When that attracted no attention, she apparently lowered the cost by $10 million, putting its value now at $75 million. With seven bedrooms, nine bathrooms, a tennis court, and an infinity pool, is there enough there to justify the hefty price tag? Cher thinks so.
