It’s quite common for these expensive celebrity homes to swap hands from one big name to another. For example, when Ryan Seacrest bought a place in Beverly Hills in 2012, he got it from Ellen DeGeneres. Of course, she didn’t just give it away for free. The media personality apparently paid $36.5 million for the almost three-acre space.
With amenities like a massage room, media room, swimming pool, gym, and underground garage, we can certainly see why Ryan would want to buy this property. However, as much as he might have loved the place, he didn’t wish to stay here forever. That’s why he sold it for $51 million, a drop from the initial $85 million listing.
