Pesticides are not healthy for fruits and vegetables. Altrazine is an example of a weed killer that was banned in Europe because it caused severe health problems for humans. However, the U.S. still uses this product.
Alternatives– Purchase organic produce whenever possible and wash it thoroughly before eating.
