14 Symptoms of Rotator Cuff Rupture

  1. Pain when Moving the Arm Behind the Body

The rotator cuff is comprised of four muscles, as opposed to a single muscle. The function of these muscles is to externally rotate the arm. This indicates that these muscles are responsible for turning the arm away from the body.

This may be accomplished by swinging the fist outwards or merely rotating the humerus into a supinated position. The rotator cuff is a very essential arm and shoulder muscle. This is what enables you to throw a ball and execute a variety of arm movements.

If you experience pain when moving your arm backward, there is a high likelihood that you have damaged your rotator cuff in some fashion. This is due to the fact that the rotator cuff is the only muscle that aids in this form of arm rotation. Take note of the discomfort and consult your physician immediately.
